TRIBE Manchester Airport
TRIBE Manchester Airport is the newest hotel at MAN, opened in October 2024 directly opposite Terminal 2, steps from The Station, the airport’s train, tram and coach interchange. Accor’s design-led TRIBE brand keeps the footprint of a budget hotel but the look of a boutique one: 412 soundproofed rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, some facing the runway, above an Italian restaurant with an open kitchen and a pizza oven. For arrivals by train or tram it is, with the Radisson Blu, one of the airport’s two most convenient hotels.

Guest Rooms
The 412 rooms are compact, carefully planned and quiet, with soundproofing, floor-to-ceiling glazing, smart TVs and rain showers. Runway-facing rooms are sought after by plane spotters, while rooms on the other side face the interchange.
Standard room amenities include:
- Air conditioning
- Coffee and tea-making facilities
- Free high-speed Wi-Fi
- Hair dryer
- Rain shower
- Smart TV

Breakfast and Dining
TRIBE Table, the Italian restaurant with an open kitchen and pizza oven, serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner: the morning buffet includes barista-made coffee, fresh pastries and full English favourites, and the evening menu runs from pasta and pizza to grilled fish, steaks and beef carpaccio. The TRIBE Café covers barista coffee, snacks and lighter homemade dishes through the day.

Facilities and Services
The 24-hour gym is fitted out by Technogym with free weights, spin bikes, treadmills and benches. The hotel also offers on-site parking (around £25 per night), luggage storage and a 24-hour front desk; the social lobby doubles as a workspace with plenty of plugs and coffee.

Location and Transportation
The hotel is a few steps from The Station: trains reach Manchester Piccadilly in around 13 to 18 minutes, Metrolink trams terminate here, and National Express coaches serve the same interchange. Terminal 2 is about two minutes on foot directly across the road, and Terminal 3 is reached via the covered Skylink walkway. Manchester city centre is about a 20-minute drive.
Nearby Alternatives
The Radisson Blu has its entrance directly on the Skylink walkway plus a pool, and the ibis budget two minutes from Terminal 2 undercuts every other hotel on the airport site on price.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far is TRIBE from the terminals?
Terminal 2 is directly across the road, about a two-minute walk door to door. The Station, the airport's train, tram and coach interchange, is two to five minutes on foot, and Terminal 3 is reached via Terminal 2 and the covered Skylink walkway.
Do the rooms really overlook the runway?
Some do. The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and are soundproofed, and a number of them look out over the airfield, which makes the hotel popular with aviation fans. Views cannot usually be guaranteed at booking.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes, on-site parking is available for around £25 per night, subject to availability. For longer trips, compare the airport's own park-and-fly car parks.
